Julie Doiron of Eric's Trip opened the Con Hall show, and dude from Great Lake Swimmers opened the Winter Garden Theatre. Also, you missed a show at the Rivoli (early 2000's) with Hayden, Howie Beck, Jason Collett and I think Al Tuck all on stage at the same time taking turns playing songs. Hayden played a couple songs I never heard before or after than night and he forgot the words more than once, and he played an xylophone for one of Howie's songs, wish I could remember this date arg!

Wow! You're right! I think I saw Doiron open for Hayden more than once. "Dude from Great Lake Swimmers" is Tony Dekker.DirtRock wrote:Julie Doiron of Eric's Trip opened the Con Hall show, and dude from Great Lake Swimmers opened the Winter Garden Theatre.

No Julie Doiron opened the convocation hall show (she came back out with Howie Beck to sing tell me why and carried away {they are only credited in the booklet on tell me why though}). There was also a show around that time at the rivoli with Hayden, Howie Beck, Jason Collett and at least one other guy all on stage taking turns playing songs, and Hayden played a little xylophone for one of Howie's songs. I think he played dynamite walls and holster, and another song I didn't recognize and he forgot the words halfway through and just stopped and the next dude took his turn. I remember Howie played Maybe I Belong to a good reaction and some clown kept yelling for Skates no matter who was playing next...
