In addition to the "Old Dreams" download posted today by Rolling Stone, CBC has posted album release details and the 2nd vignette to promote the album:
Today, Arts & Crafts announced a Feb. 19 release for Hayden's seventh full-length album, Us Alone. The album's first single, "Old Dreams", debuted this morning on Rolling Stone as a free dowload, and you can preview it below.

According to the Toronto singer-songwriter, the album is more stripped-down than past releases.
“I was moving away from so many records now (including some of my past work) where every song features an overwhelming number of instruments; it's often hard to replicate things like that live," Hayden said of his approach in a press release for the album. "I wanted the sound of five people walking into a room and playing a full set. With the exception of some stellar help from friends on a song or two, those five people were mostly just me."
According to the label, the eight-song album ends with the very practical track "Instructions," where Hayden provides directions for what should be done with his body when he dies. You can view the full tracklist below:
1. "Motel"
2. "Just Give me a Name"
3. "Blurry Nights"
4. "Old Dreams"
5. "Almost Everything"
6. "Oh Memory"
7. "Rainy Saturday"
8. "Instructions"

wish The Closer I Get would get the vinyl treatment... maybe with Tree's Lounge added as a bonus! That would be sweet!

Chris, do you know if this is a mistake since this was posted 3 weeks ago or if the release date has indeed changed?
I can't believe how one thing changes everything and nothing will ever be the same again.
