Re: US shows
well, after 2 hours of traffic (hoping to get there early for a bite and a couple drinks) I got the the show 30 minutes late. show started at 7p. I got there at 7:32p. awfully pissed and aggravated, i walked into a solo Hayden show with him playing 'Troubled Times' and I quickly became calm and in awe. haven't seen him play on his own since 2004-ish. as always he was honest, humble, & sincere. The crowd was completely quiet the entire show. Which is a rarity in NYC, usually the crowd is more interested in their own conversations.
It was an early show, so he had a 2 hour curfew. but he played all the way up to 9:02p. It was fantastic. He played a ton of material, not all new, as well as a set of his under 2minute songs.
2 highlights were a cover of "wicked game" (which i tried to record but my phone ran out of memory in 50-something seconds) and a full story of his daughter (the same as the recent article), right before "No Happy Birthday". which had the whole crowd grasp onto every word he sung.
He also said he'll be opening for Bahamas at Irving Plaza June 19th....with the band. unfortunately I'll be in Utah.....dammit!!

Re: US shows
Too bad you missed the beginning but it seems like it was a good show.
Hopefully he will do a European tour for the new album
